Precognitive Dreaming: Can Dreams Predict The Future?

Has there ever been a time in your life where you’ve dreamt about something before it happened in real life? you’re not alone. It has been documented that at least one third of people experience a dream that appears to have predicted the future.

There’s a term that people use for this known as precognitive dreaming. It basically means having the psychic ability to see events in the future. Another term used is Déjà rêvé which translates into “already dreamed”.

There’s obviously no way to prove that this is true scientifically. But the best way to prove it to yourself is by writing down all your dreams and then looking back on them at a later date.

The dream may not be an exact replica of reality but it’s usually pretty damn close. Neville Goddard mentions this in one of his lectures called Out Of This World.

He says that every single dream we have shows us our future in some form but it doesn’t always happen exactly in the order that it appeared in the dream. There might be some subtle differences because time doesn’t exist inside of dreams.

Dreams show us the present, future and past all at the same time. Many dreams have a symbolic meaning as well and don’t show you things in a literal sense. You will never really know until you start paying attention to your dreams and connecting the dots with real life events.

Is our life predetermined?

I really started to think about this after I had many of my dreams come true over time. What if all the decisions I’ve made my whole life have already been pre planned? could that really be the case? I personally don’t think so. After everything I’ve read throughout the years, my firm belief is this:

our dreams are a preview for what’s coming into our lives based on our present thoughts and feelings.

If you constantly think and feel that something bad is going to happen during the day, your dreams are going to align with that. You might end up having a nightmare and then a similar situation will occur in reality.

In can also work exactly in the opposite way. If your thoughts and feelings are primarily positive and pure throughout the day your dreams will follow that track.

This is why it’s so important to keep a dream journal. You can tell by your dreams what your true subconscious beliefs are and also get an idea of what events might show up in your life. I experienced it for myself when I had a desire to manifest a serious relationship.

Meeting my girlfriend in my dreams

A few years ago I really wanted to manifest a relationship. I would spend an hour everyday visualizing what it would feel like to be in one.

I wrote down all the qualities I wanted in someone and I got pretty specific with it. I knew there was no way I could get everything on the list but I would be happy if she even had half of things.

After a few weeks, I started to have dreams where I was in a relationship with this girl. Eventually I got her name in the dream as well. I kept on seeing her quite a bit in my dreams until I was convinced I was going to meet this girl in real life.

It took awhile but I eventually did meet her and as soon as she told me her name I knew that this was the dream becoming a reality. Nothing in our life happens randomly, we are in control of what happens to us and there are no coincidences.

If I hadn’t been writing down my dreams and actively trying to remember them, I wouldn’t of had the chance to meet that girl. But now I know there is something deeper going on behind the scenes.

Dreaming of lottery numbers

There have been many stories that I’ve read online about people who have dreamt of lottery numbers, played them and won the jackpot. Sometimes it takes people a few years before it actually happens and some have their numbers appear a day later.

The most recent example is a woman from Canada named Deng Pravatoudom who won 60 million from the lotto max.

This woman had been playing numbers that her husband dreamt of 20 years ago and they finally came out recently. Now you might say that it’s just a coincidence but there have been so many stories just like hers that you can’t help but question it.

There was another man in Virginia who won $400,000 from numbers he had received through a dream. He said that one night 5 numbers randomly came to him in a dream so he played 4 identical tickets with them.

It is not clear how long it took but he still ended up winning the jackpot. At this point you really have to think to yourself, can our dreams actually predict the future?

Experiment for yourself

The only way to find out if this is all real is to test it out for yourself. Your dreams contain critical information and messages that could alter the future of your life.

They are not meaningless like we’ve been brought up to believe. The lottery dreams are the perfect example of that. You may have some dreams of a product idea, potential career path or a future love interest. You just never know.

There are dreams that can come in the form of warnings as well. Maybe a certain job isn’t right for you or maybe you get a premonition not to take a certain flight. These are just some of the reasons why tracking your dreams is important.

I know this all might sound crazy but it is a real phenomenon that people are experiencing and it can’t be ignored. If you’ve ever had an experience with precognitive dreams, please share your story down in the comment section.
